Accommodation
All rooms are comfortably appointed and fully furnished, however residents are actively encouraged to choose their own colour schemes, soft furnishings and to personalise their room if they choose.

Activities
We firmly believe that the body and the mind are very closely linked and that keeping the body active, even for those who are perhaps less mobile than they once were can also do wonders for their state of mind.

Cuisine
All our food is locally sourced and freshly prepared each day. Our chefs provide a varied and balanced menu and happily caters for special diets and preferences, where requested.

The Mill House Care Home is located in the village of Kington surrounded by the rural landscape of Worcestershire. This family run care home provides love and support for people living with Dementia.

We pride ourselves in having a remarkable workforce lead by Rebecca Pleaden our Registered Manager alongside Georgina Stone, Joanne Carroll and Johnathan Stone.

Although we benefit from being in the countryside the home is easily accessible from many major
transport routes.

Why people choose the Mill House?

We pride ourselves on offering individualised, person-centred care to those living with Dementia. Our aim is to enable maximum quality of life with the minimum of restriction.

We are home to 31 residents, our spacious rooms, most of which are en-suite, are tastefully decorated and residents are invited to bring personal items such as ornaments, photographs and small pieces of furniture in order to make them feel truly at home.

We recognise that being away from one's loved ones can be difficult, visits to the home are encouraged any time of day we also use Skype and Zoom to help residents stay in touch with family and friends; each room also has its own TV points.
